Hello folks!
For this first update, we've been working relatively quickly on starting the game, and if we continue at this pace, we hope to have a playable demo for the next milestone.
The parts we've been working on are detailed below:
- Global turns: For this version, we've developed a way to determine turns in each round. This turn allocation is governed by two principles: a player must always start each round, and two characters from the same side (heroes or enemies) cannot play more than two turns in a row.
- Creation of a card hand: It's now possible to draw cards from a deck and form a visible hand for the player. The design of each card and its effects is still in progress, so we currently only have a placeholder.
- Design: Sprites were chosen for the heroes and for certain enemies. Additionally, a frame was created to more easily identify the heroes, displaying their name and health.
On the other hand, for the next update, we want to have a basic combat system implemented and start working on card design.
