Milestone #3
Greetings folks!
For this major update we have been working on a lot of things, fixing bugs and tweaking some aspects of the game. Let's get started with the changes:
Enemies: Slugger is added as a new enemy.
Cards: Cards now have different types of rarity (which will by indicated with 1 to 3 stars): common, uncommon, and rare. The higher the rarity of a card, the greater its effects. Additionally, when it's a player's turn, cards are now dealt automatically instead of the player having to draw them manually from the deck.
Rewards: After completing a round, allied characters can choose one card as a reward from a selection of three.
Scenes: A tutorial is added to explain the various aspects of the game and the keys used to play. Furthermore, a scene for credits has been added.
Effects: Animations are added for when a unit dies and when it receives armor.
With that said, this probably will be the last update for this game. We really enjoyed this journey, and we hope to see you again in the future in another project. Stay safe and have a great week!
