Devlog #4


Welcome folks!

It's time for another update for our game. In this edition, we bring you the following features and changes:

Cards: Players now have a maximum number of cards per turn, meaning they can draw up to three cards per turn (this is subject to change). Additionally, there is a new discard animation once a card has been played.

Enemies: New enemies have been added that apply various effects. Currently, we have: Warlock, an enemy that can attack or apply weakness; Pyro, an enemy that can attack or apply burns; Medic, an enemy that applies area healing to allies; Boss, a boss-type enemy with high health and damage. Additionally, teams of three random enemies now appear.



Effects: Certain cards now have attack effects, including lightning, fire, weakness, fire, and stun effects.


UI: A loading screen with the team logo has been added, as well as a main menu that includes options to play and adjust settings. Additionally, an in-game settings menu has been added. It is worth mentioning that the settings menu currently only allows modifying the game sound.


Music: Music has been added for the game menu.

Bug Fixes:  Fixed a bug where AoE-type cards would only attack one enemy.

For milestone 3, we aim to implement more cards, visual effects, sound effects, and lastly, address balance issues.
